The Generation to Generation capital campaign for Christ Church Parish is the culmination of a thoughtful and prayerful planning process. It quickly became evident that in addition to beginning many exciting new programs, we needed to upgrade our facilities because we believe this parish is called to an imperative and vital ministry in Eureka. The basic aim of this capital campaign, therefore, is to raise funds for new and renovated facilities that will be tools for us to enhance and expand our ministry with particular emphasis on youth and young adults – while preserving our rich Anglican heritage.
Christ Church Parish has a long history of energetic, visionary and generous people who have provided for us a wonderful legacy. They could have done less; they could have left us a parish of diminished spirit and hope. Instead these generations gave and built and prayed us into what we know and treasure today as Christ Church. And herein is the essence of our opportunity:

The only way for us to honor the vision and generosity of past generations is to pass on to future generations our present ability to expand the mission and ministry of this parish.
The Campaign Prayer
Almighty God, over loving Creator, in your divine providence you have brought each of us to this time and place as your faithful servants. We pray for your wisdom and guidance in each of our lives, as we embrace your challenge for the future of your holy church. Help us, we pray, to search our hearts, that we may discern our most generous commitment to this wonderful and enduring opportunity before us. Enable us to build upon the foundations of those who came before us. Guide us as we seek your will in our lives. Empower us, we pray, by the inspiration of your Holy Spirit, that what we have intended in our hearts we may accomplish in our lives and that your purposes may be served for generations to come; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
